We’re playing bingo and making a hamotzi with the one and only Etan G at a fun spot called Pop’s Bingo World! It also has a Bar and Grill section and is Richmond’s first-ever kosher restaurant since the local Shul was founded 167 years ago.
This charitable bingo hall is much more than just a dining experience. It’s a community cornerstone that gives back all the proceeds from gaming; whether it’s poker, bingo, or electronic pull-tab devices. The proceeds are used to support essential Jewish community services like the day school, the mikvah, and the Shul. Notably, they’ve even funded trips for 50 men to study in Israel!
Aside the bingo, another thing that brought us to this spot is our love for classic comfort food and the first on the list was the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The next was the star of any kosher community: pizza!
But the culinary delights at this fun spot didn’t stop at pizza. We had the calzone, the fettuccine alfredo, and a wonderfully crafted tuna sub.
Pop’s Bar and Grill is more than just a place to eat; it’s a vibrant community hub filled with layers of awesomeness and heartwarming stories. Whether you’re a bingo aficionado or a poker pro, you’ll find something to love here.
Join us as we celebrate the kosher richness of Pop’s Bingo World in Richmond, Virginia, a hidden gem that serves its community with delicious food and supports noble causes.
