There is an Asian finer dining that showcases the evolution of modern Asian cuisine in the kosher community. This spot is shiny, slick, and located in Five Towns, Cedarhurst, New York. It’s called Anju.
Led by the Saphnia siblings, this fine dining restaurant elevates Asian dishes, from sushi to braised short ribs, with exceptional flavors, textures, and presentation.
Anju’s dim sum menu features standout items like gyoza and edamame dumplings. The gyoza offers a perfect blend of chewy and crispy textures with a creamy filling, while the edamame dumplings showcase innovative flavors. Their udon noodle dish impresses with a rich and savory sauce.
We also enjoyed other dishes like cornetto, chili cucumber, sea bass, and braised short ribs. The sea bass, garnished with enoki and shiitake mushrooms, is a delicate yet flavorful dish. The braised short ribs were served alongside the Asian chimichurri and both had a tender texture and harmonious fusion of flavors.
Anju sets a new standard for kosher dining. Their commitment to quality, presentation, and innovation makes them a standout in the kosher culinary scene. They are under the supervision of Vaad Hakashrus of Five Towns Far Rockaway.
So, if you are in Five Towns and craving tasteful Asian dishes, Anju is the place for you.
